POUR is a sculptural seating installation that draws inspiration from the full journey of wine — from the tending of vines to the act of pouring and sharing. Formed as a series of flowing, interwoven benches, the work reflects the rhythm of vineyard rows and the gestures of generosity that define Niagara-on-the-Lake’s landscape and community.

Constructed from a durable wood-alternative material with the warmth of natural timber, POUR invites visitors to rest, reflect, and connect. Its curved silhouettes echo both the motion of wine being poured and the cycles of labour and transformation that shape place.

Each year, on the fall equinox, the sculpture’s shadows align precisely with rows cast into its concrete base — a quiet marker of time and harvest.
At once tactile and symbolic, POUR celebrates the intertwining of craft, material, and memory — a meeting of art, architecture, and the landscape of making.
